Several interesting matches were played within the Women’s Champions League this week. The handball players of Buducnost won their first point, while Metz, Gyori ETO and Kristiansand recorded victories in the fourth round of the elite competition.
The end of the derby match between Kristiansand and CSM Bucharest was celebratory for the Norwegians, who won with 30:25. Christiansand had control of the result throughout the match and reached an important victory. After the first part it was 14:12, while in the second half the home team had the highest advantage of six goals. This is the third triumph of Kristiansand, and the first defeat of CSM Bucharest this season.
The handball players of Buducnost, who have a lot of problems with the coronavirus, reached the first point in the Champions League in the fourth match. The Montenegrin representative drew a draw on home court against Brest 22:22. The match was equal from the beginning to the end, at half time it was 12:12, and that tempo continueduntil the very finish. Brest remains undefeated with two wins and two draws.
In the match between Gyori and Odense, the home team reached easy win with 32:25, and at halftime the Hungarian team had a good advantage of 16:11, thus announcing the victory. In the only match of the term at 4 pm, Metz reached an easy triumph against Crimea.
