National team of Serbia

Serbia begun their journey in the qualification phase 2 with tight win against Russia in Nis, and away victory against Bosnia and Herzegovina. But they were shocked in Graz in the match against Austria which they lost but more stunning was the point that Austria took from them in Zrenjanin. When everybody saw Russia and Austria in the EURO 2014,  Serbia with another impressive tight victory in Astrakhan, Russia, and home victory against Bosnia and Herzegovina secured the first place in Group 7. As group winners from Pot 1 were assigned to Aarhus in Group C together with France, Poland and Russia.

Serbia individually is one of the best national team on this EURO. Their middle back Petar Nenadic is in form of his life. They will try to repeat the success from last Euro, where they won the silver medal. The first back line players come from best teams in Europe, they are in great form.

Their defense is relatively slow. It will all depend on Darko Stanic and his form, since his form is variable this season.
